Active learning session for innovation managers, facilitators, moderators.

Learn how to design the process of responsible innovation in this dynamic, group-based online workshop. Innovation managers, facilitators and other practitioners will get the chance to learn how to design a responsible process, which quality criteria are crucial here, and which methods can be used for design thinking using concrete examples.

A case study will be used with practical exercises for participants, which the experts will evaluate with practical takeaways for improvement.

Reflective discussion with experts and practical case studies

Hosted by: Living Innovation project

This reflective session will look at perspectives on inclusive innovation, including reflections from academics, laypeople and technologists.

An expert from Siemens will present their case study on working with visually-impaired people, while an expert from De Montfort University (DMU) will share their knowledge on working with families in disadvantaged localities. These case studies will be followed by insights from a technology journalist with expertise on gender issues and ethics in technology.

Peek into an exciting new future as experts in smart health, smart home and foresight unveil how Responsible Innovation will work hand in hand with Smart Future Living.

Using the dynamic and fun Pecha Kucha storytelling format, speakers will present their vision for our responsible future, followed by a discussion with the Youth Panel, where young participants will challenge the experts’ views. To dive into deeper conversations on Smart Health, Smart Home and living with Smart technologies, the session will be followed by smaller group conversations with the experts.
