Roisin previously qualified and worked as a science teacher, before completing a M.Sc in Business Management and working in a number of teaching and course development roles in institutes around Dublin.
She now lectures in both DCU, Dublin and in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and has won teaching awards for both posts. Her research focuses on the development of entrepreneurial tendencies in individuals and teams, and she completed her PhD in this area.
She directs and publishes the national GUESSS report on student entrepreneurship biannually. Keenly interested in social entrepreneurship, Roisin works in an advisory role for the Enactus global social entrepreneurship programme, the School Enterprise Challenge and the national CSR forum.
She judges for the Young Scientist competition annually and this year ran a large sustainability research event relating to the SDG's in the Helix, Dublin.
