Liam Redmond is the Country Manager for Enactus Ireland, a non-profit organisation with the dual aim of creating social enterprises and creating socially conscious leaders. Enactus empowers third level students to create, and implement, social enterprises which are financial sustainable and create a positive impact in our world. In doing so, the students develop the skills to become the socially conscious leaders of the future.
Through his work with Enactus, Liam has supported numerous social enterprises such as Keep Appy, Access Earth and Giveback.ie to mention but a few. As an Enactus student, Liam founded HeadstARTS in 2012. HeadstaARTS is a social enterprise which acts as a vehicle for people with intellectual disabilities to engage with the arts. The idea for HeadstARTS came from Liam’s involvement as a volunteer with Special Olympics and his inability to coach any type of sport whatsoever!
Liam graduated from Dublin City University holding a BA in Gaeilge & Gnó (Irish & Business).
