Dr. Pratheeba Vimalnath is a Research Associate at the Innovation and Intellectual Property Management (IIPM) lab, IfM, University of Cambridge, working for the research project IPACST funded by the Belmont Form and Norface.
Her research interests include IP strategy and management, with focus on IP strategies and degrees of openness in IP sharing for open innovation, sustainability transitions, circular economy, green innovations, and affordable medicines. She also serves as Wolfson College Research Associate, Cambridge Research Data Champion, and Interest Group Champion of Cambridge Global Challenges. Prior to joining IfM, she worked as an Oxford Martin Fellow at the University of Oxford to research on IP models for open drug discovery and development.
She holds a doctorate in IP Management and a Master’s degree in Technology Management, both from the Indian Institute of Science, India, and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering, from the Government College of Technology (Coimbatore), India.
