Terms and Conditions
Effective as of 08 March 2017
The following describes the terms applicable to the use of the http://responsibleinnovation-summit.com/ website (hereinafter referred to as ’the Site’), to the purchase of a ticket or registration for any event or conference of The Impacter Development Centre Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as ’the Company’). By using the Site, purchasing a ticket or registering for an event or conference organised by the company you agree to these Terms and Conditions (hereinafter referred to as ’T&C’). Certain services, some of which may be provided by third parties, may be subject to additional terms and conditions, and your use of the Site and other services constitutes your agreement to all applicable additional terms. The Company may revise these T&C at any time by posting an updated version to this Site.
If you do not accept the T&C as stated here, do not use the Site, do not purchase a ticket and do not register for a conference.
I. Use of the Site
As a condition of your use of the Site, you warrant that
(i) all information supplied by you on this Site is true, accurate, current and complete;
(ii) if you have a registered account on the Site, you will safeguard your account information and will supervise and be completely responsible for any use of your account by anyone other than you;
(iii) you are 14 years of age or older in order to register for an account to the Site; and
(iv) you possess the legal authority to use this Site and its services in accordance with all terms and conditions herein.
The Company retains the right at its sole discretion to deny access to anyone to the Site and the services it offers, at any time and for any reason, including, but not limited to, for violation of these T&C.
You may not use any automatic device, program or any similar process to access, acquire, copy or monitor any portion of the Site to obtain materials, documents or information through any means not purposely made available through the Site. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion or feature of the Site, or any other systems or networks connected to the Site, or to any of the services offered on the Site by illegitimate means.
You may not use the Site for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these T&C, or to solicit the performance of any illegal activity or other activity which infringes the rights of the Company or others.
II. Purchase of tickets, event information
On the Site you can purchase tickets for conferences or events organised by the Company. Once a successful purchase transaction has been completed, tickets are delivered in electronic soft-copy via email to the email address nominated by the purchaser. For some ticket types it may be necessary to complete required information – such as attendee name or tax identification number – before the tickets can be issued. The ticket acts as a receipt for the transaction and can be used to redeem entry at the event listed on the ticket. A printed hard-copy ticket or an electronic soft-copy ticket detailing the registration data can be used to register at the event.
You cannot resell a subsidised ticket, including all ticket types, as doing so will void the ticket and the ticket holder will not gain entry into the event.
All tickets must be assigned to an attendee, and all attendee details must be 100% complete within 30 days of receipt of your ticket. For the avoidance of doubt, this includes name, job title, company name and a passport style photo. Ticket reassignment after this date is prohibited.
If you have secured a complimentary ticket but have already bought a ticket, you are not eligible for a refund.
Under 18s must be accompanied by an adult.
You acknowledge that the Company will not provide transport or travel expenses to or from any event or conference. You acknowledge that the Company will consider but not guarantee exhibiting organisations requests for day changes at any event or conference.
III. Refund and Cancellation
Once purchased, tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded, unless the event is cancelled. All tickets will be offered subject to availability at the time of booking. Tickets are non-transferable.
Latecomers will only be admitted at the discretion of event management staff and at an appropriate interval. Event management accepts no responsibility for possessions lost or stolen on the premises. Unless otherwise indicated, all graphics, logos and commercial markings are registered trademarks. You may not use, copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute or modify any Trademarks in any way, including in advertising or publicity pertaining to or distribution of materials, without prior written consent. Event management reserve the right to make changes to these Terms & Conditions at any time without prior notice.
In the unlikely event of cancellation of a conference or event the liability of the Company is limited to the share of paid registration fees that remains after credit card and payment processing fees have been incurred and deducted.
It is strictly forbidden for any company, organisation or attendee to attempt to host or organise any event in conjunction with, contiguous to or purporting to be related to Responsible Innovation Summit or its affiliates without the express prior permission and co-operation of the Company. In the event of breach of these terms any tickets purchased will be rendered null and void. The Company reserves their right to take such legal action including a claim for damages as may be appropriate.
The tickets purchased (including hotel rooms if applicable) are for your own personal use or that of your business only and may not be re-sold or transferred for commercial gain under any circumstances, including but not limited to use as part of any promotion or competition. Where there has been any re-sale or attempted re-sale of any tickets (or any other breach of this term), we reserve the right to cancel the relevant tickets with immediate effect.
We reserve the right to cancel any ticket purchase made by any person whom we reasonably believe to be associated with any ticket broker or tout.
The Company reserves the right to refuse admission to any event or conference for any behaviour, which it deems unacceptable, or for breach of the terms and conditions.
The Company will not be responsible for any tickets that are lost or stolen. The unauthorised use of photographic and recording equipment at events and conferences is prohibited. You consent to film and sound recording as attendees at any event or conference.
The Company and its subsidiaries will not be liable for any loss injury or damage to any person or property howsoever caused (save for death or personal injury as a result of the Company’s negligence or for any other type of liability that cannot by law be excluded or limited.)
The Company will not be liable for the granting of any visas that are required to attend any event or conference. If an attendee’s visa is not granted, tickets will not be refunded for any event or conference.
Name changes will be facilitated free of charge. No name changes will be facilitated 7 days prior to the commencement of the event and the ticket price will be forfeited.
